20. CanI pay for a MDUFA cover sheet online, and what is Pay.gov?

The FDA has partnered with the US Department of theTreasury to utilize Pay.gov, a web based payment application, for online secureelectronic payment.  Pay.gov can now be used to submit secureelectronic payments for cover sheets/invoices to the FDA.  TheTreasury has compiled a comprehensive list of Pay.gov FAQs which can beaccessed at https://www.pay.gov/paygov/faqs.html.

Pay.gov provides customersthe option to submit online payment via credit card (VISA, MasterCard, AMEX,etc) and/or Automated Clearing House (ACH) electronic check(eCheck).  After submitting your cover sheet click the 'PayNow' button and follow the on-screen instructions to makepayment.  To pay later, log into your MDUFA User Fee account andaccess your cover sheet history page by clicking on the 'PreviousCover Sheets'  icon at the top of the page.  Clickthe 'Pay Now' linknext to the PIN number you need to pay for.  Confirmation of paymentmade by credit card/electronic check can be received in as little as 48 hours.

21. Whatare my payment options?

The preferred payment method is online using a creditcard or electronic check (ACH), paying online ensures that your payment will beprocessed in a timely manner.  The additional payment options includepaper check, bank draft, money order, or wire transfer.  Please writethe User Fee Payment Identification Number (PIN) beginning with "AG"on your payment submission. Also append a printed copy of your completedcover sheet with your payment submission.
