Retailers and other participants in the WERCSmart program, who sell, transport, store or dispose of your product face challenges in complying with increasingly complex federal, state and local regulations.

The data contained in the Safety Data Sheets (SDSs) supplied with the products frequently do not contain sufficient information for compliance with these regulations. WERCSmart provides retailers, and other participants, the data required to comply with these regulations.

Since its inception in 2008, Wercsmart’s transactional pricing model has not kept pace with today’s dynamic nature of the program in order to meet the needs of its participants and its contributing suppliers.

The Subscription Model is designed to address certain inefficiencies for its customers. Contributors can now experience a predictable budget for ever-increasing regulatory requirements, UPC updates, forwarding of products, and recertification.

By converting to the Subscription Model, suppliers manage their products more efficiently and experience unlimited product updates without the hassle of paying for each requested transaction.

Subscription fees are determined by two categories of tier ranges that are based upon your number of registered active products.

• Non-formulated Light Bulbs – A non-regulated light bulb which contains no hazardous components or ingredients. 不含有化学成分的照明用品：非管制照明用品包含了无害成分或者材料。
• Electronics – Products without a battery included, but have a circuit board included. 电子产品：不含电池的产品，但带有电路板的产品。
• Copper Wire Only – Product does not contain battery, circuit board or any type of chemical. Likely has only a plug. 仅含铜线的产品：产品不含电池、电路板或者任何类型的化学品。比如只含有一个插头的产品。
• Kits & Gift Packs: Two or more unrelated/different products combined to share a UPC. – The product assessments must be complete before they are included in a Kit. 工具包&礼物包：两个或者两个以上不相关/不相同的产品相结合，但共享一个UPC号码。（单个产品的评估必须在整个工具包进行注册之前完成。） |

7. WHAT STEPS DO I NEED TO CONSIDER BEFORE SUBSCRIBING?
It is recommended to evaluate your product portfolio before you subscribe. The subscription process will present you the opportunity to Obsolete products which are currently in Archived status. Once this process has been completed, the system will display the pricing tier for your Active products.

8. WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I GO TO THE NEXT TIER IN THE MIDDLE OF THE YEAR?
Should you outgrow your current subscription tier, the system will automatically notify you. A pro-rated invoice will be provided based upon the annual date of renewal. A supplier simply pays the updated amount and continues with your subscription advantages.
8.一年当中，如果增加了产品数量，那么订阅模式中会发生哪些变化？
如果超出了当前的订阅等级，系统会自动通知你。基于订阅时的日期，会提供你一张新的发票，该发票是基于之前缴费的基础上计算的，供应商只需要支付更新部分的费用，仍可继续保持当年的订阅状态。
9. WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I NEED TO GO DOWN A TIER IN THE MIDDLE OF THE YEAR?
The subscription tier is for a full year. Upon annual renewal you may make adjustments for the subsequent period.
9.一年当中中，如果要减少产品数量，那么订阅模式中会发生哪些变化？
订阅期限是一整年的。一年到期之后，可以对产品数量进行调整。
10. HOW DO I PAY MY SUBSCRIPTION?
Payment options include credit card, wire transfer or ACH.
